  • Advice for IATA on BAA’s ten-year Capital Investment Plans at London Heathrow – both in terms of cost efficiency and alignment with airline requirements.
  • Advice on drafting of masterplans (including planning issues) for Bristol and Liverpool airports.
  • Supporting role in developing a commercial passenger terminal at RAF Valley on behalf of Welsh Assembly Government.
  • Existing terminal capacity assessment and design briefs for new interim terminal developments at Abu Dhabi Airport.  Terminal 2 was delivered in 2005, a bespoke 3mppa terminal for regional airlines.  AviaSolutions provided seconded resources to Etihad Airways for six months, delivering a detailed (65%) design for a new terminal 3 at Abu Dhabi.
  • Development of a masterplan and programme for Exeter International Airport.
  • Development of a masterplan for Bahrain International Airport.
  • Detailed review of infrastructure development at Copenhagen Airport.
  • Masterplans, capacity assessment and capital investment programme review for a large number of airports worldwide, as part of wider transaction process.
  • A detailed review of interim capacity solutions prior to the opening of a new midfield terminal complex at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
  • A long-term masterplan for Bahrain Airport, including traffic forecasting, capital development and business planning.
  • Capital investment reviews for a number of major airports including London Gatwick (as part of related transaction processes) including Copenhagen, Bristol, Brussels, Birmingham, BAA Group Airports, Chicago Midway and San Juan.
