Heathrow Airport New Noise Mitigation Scheme Consultation

BAA Heathrow, in its 2009 Noise Action Plan, gave a commitment to review a range of existing noise mitigation schemes. In addition in September 2010, the Government announced that the Cranford Agreement at Heathrow would end. At present, this agreement prevents aircraft departing from the Northern Runway when operating in an easterly direction.

AviaSolutions has been retained by Heathrow Airport to assist in the planning and implementation of a major public consultation regarding both the proposed changes to noise mitigation scheme and the planning application which will be necessary to facilitate the ending of the Cranford Agreement. The consultation is expected to start in the New Year.

AviaSolutions will also undertake an independent analysis of the results of the consultation.
