27/11/2007 - Newquay Airport - Route Development

Today FlyBe, Europe's largest low cost regional airline, has announced a major expansion of its operations at Newquay Airport. 

For summer 2008, in addition to the airlines' successful Edinburgh service, new routes include Birmingham, Glasgow, Southampton and pseudo-charter flights to the Isle of Man and Barcelona. AviaSolutions provided support to Newquay Airport by providing route forecasts and liaising with the airline commerical team to demonstrate the potential of operations in Cornwall. 

This marks a particularly successful period of route development at Newquay which also includes new Air Southwest services to Glasgow, Newcastle and Chambery in France.
