AviaSolutions has continued to recruit senior expertise from the aviation industry as part of our commitment to continuously improve the service we offer our clients. We welcomed three new additions to the team recently.
- Andrew Rowsell joins us from BAA where he was Head of Retail Strategy. In this role Andy had strategic and regulatory responsibility for all non aeronautical commercial activity across BAA’s seven airports in the UK, generating retail income in excess of £600m annually. Andy brings over tens years retail and finance experience to the team and will be working with Peter Jones in supplementing our financial due diligence capabilities as well as bringing additional airport retail experience to the team.
- Paul Cresswell also joins from BAA where he was Forecasting & Statistics Team Manager. In this role Paul had operational leadership of a team of professional air traffic forecasters and analysts. The key remit of the team was to provide an air traffic forecasting / analysis service to clients across the BAA business. Paul will be fulfilling a similar role with AviaSolutions working with Jonathan Naylor to supplement our forecasting and analytical capabilities.
- John Carter joins us from BAA after 15 years with the company. Over that time, John has worked at Gatwick, Heathrow, Southampton and at BAA’s head office in a number of senior roles covering security, commercial revenue generation, route development, research, and regulation, culminating in leading BAA’s Business Development team. Whilst in business development, BAA acquired a number of airport contracts including Oman, Budapest, and Perth and following the acquisition by Ferrovial in 2006, John led the disposal on behalf of BAA of Budapest, Melbourne, Perth, Indianapolis and World Duty Free. John will be supporting Avia’s transactional work and leading the growth of the infrastructure team.
