AviaSolutions supports AdP in its acquisition of shares in TAV

French airports operator Aéroports de Paris group is to acquire a 38% shareholding in Turkish counterpart TAV, under an $874 million agreement (source: various news stories). TAV operates a range of Turkish airports (including Istanbul Ataturk, Ankara, Izmir) and also airports in Tunisia, Georgia, Saudi Arabia and Macedonia.

AviaSolutions  has developed detailed, long term traffic forecasts for the main TAV airport assets. We worked closely with AdP and its advisory team to produce both constrained and unconstrained forecasts, and a range of sensitivity scenarios. Our forecasts and the supporting analysis informed the successful bid for TAV.
