Air Service (Route) Development

  • In the past 5 years to 2025 we have secured long term air service development contracts to advise San José Airport (Silicon Valley), Taoyuan International Airport (Taiwan), Tampa International Airport (Florida), and the Governments of Kyrgyz Republic and Republic of Tajikistan.
  • Previously we had long term ASD contracts supporting Chicago O’Hare and Midway Airports (10 years), the Scottish Government (over 15 years), Gatwick Airport (2 years), Manchester Airport (2 years), and Bosnia and Herzegovina Airports.
  • Annual attendance at World Routes event – creating compelling route pitches and marketing material – presenting our business cases to airlines on behalf of airport clients.
  • Leading role in the design, implementation and management of Route Development Funds in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.  Instrumental in the delivery of: 50+ new routes from Scotland (including services to New York, Atlanta, Boston, Toronto and Dubai); nine new routes from Northern Ireland (including to New York) and; three new routes from Cardiff.
  • Rolling out air service development initiatives for a number of European regions, including: benchmarking of existing network versus peer regions, identification of potential new routes that are realistic targets and will deliver positive net economic benefit to the region.
  • Comprehensive 3-5 year route development strategy reports for airports including London Gatwick, Manchester, Taipei, Chicago, Bosnia & Herzegovina Airports, Airports of Tajikistan and Kyrgyz Republic.
  • Route evaluations for a range of airlines.
  • Ran an ‘airport competition’ for a major European low cost airline to select its next European base.
  • Working for a number of UK and international airports on their route development strategies and delivery of new routes.
