AviaSolutions has supported WAG since 2003 in the development of this project. This ranged from undertaking the initial scoping studies, assisting with the PSO application to the European Commission, helping procure the terminal building, and supporting the competition process for both the terminal and airline operator. Jonathan Naylor and Jason Buckland from AviaSolutions were both present at the announcement, and were introduced to the Minister.

Jason Buckland commented “After being involved on this project for 4 years, it is very satisfying to see the terminal building completed and the air service due to start within the next months. Access to North Wales will be transformed, removing the need for a 5 hour journey by surface modes”.
