AirBaltic is one of Europe\u2019s fastest growing airlines, and to accommodate its rapid growth, is developing its own terminal at its main base in Riga. Our role was to provide detailed traffic forecasts that have informed the facilities requirements for the new terminal. Our forecasts involved an in-depth analysis of the future potential for connecting traffic over Riga, taking into account the size of individual connecting markets, geographic location, airBaltic\u2019s schedule development and competition from nearby hubs.
