Southend Airport – New Terminal Design Appraisal
Southend Airport required assistance in the appraisal of proposals to develop a new passenger terminal and associated infrastructure.
Our review undertook the following:
- Development of high level service standard and facility requirements.
- Appraisal matrix and ‘like for like’ summaries of the proposals.
- Detailed comparison by processes including advice on best practice design.
- Development of revised layouts and the rationale behind them.
- Attendance at the interview panel.
Our involvement has assisted Southend Airport selecting the best proposal to deliver an appropriate regional terminal for the forecast market.
